I am publishing my first round of notebooks and journals to Amazon KDP as kind of a side hustle, but I also really want to see if it works, and I also really want to know the actual numbers. 📔
In part one, I told you what the printing cost was, which was $4.52 per notebook, and then I also found this… 👈
So if I sell my notebooks for $9.99, the printing cost is $4.52, and then my royalty rate is 60%.
For each notebook I sell, I’m going to get $1.47. 😒
So those other videos that tell you that the notebook is selling for $7, this person sold 1,000 of them, so $7000 is what they made. 😒😒😒
Of course, I thought they would be overhead in this, but I did not realize what a low amount I would actually be making.
