Josuel Plasencia is a social entrepreneur, public speaker and mentor. He has been featured on NBC, ABC, PBS, C-Span and in The Wall Street Journal. At Babson College, he co-founded Project 99, a leadership development company that develops immersive experiences that help the Fortune 500, leading service firms, and other organizations bridge the leadership gap by attracting, retaining, and promoting diverse talent. We are a movement by millennials for millennials focused on diversifying leadership from the bottom-up. Project 99 has executed leadership programs in the Dominican Republic, Chile and Mexico.
He currently sits on the National Board of Directors of ALPFA, as its only student member and in the Alumni Leadership Council of the National Academy Foundation, two organizations that turned around the course of his life. He is a former recipient of the Junior Achievement Student of the Year Award, New York City Board of Education Mentee of the Year, and ALPFA’s Student of the Year. Though his favorite honor may be ringing the bell at the New York Stock Exchange. During his summers, he has worked with Goldman Sachs, the Boston Red Sox, KPMG United Nations Desk, Ernst Young, and BNY Mellon. This past summer, he was a Consulting Summer Analyst at Accenture. Josuel enjoys dancing salsa, following the Mets and traveling as a lifestyle.

By the time she was in high school, she had been in the cover of numerous newspapers and has been featured in NPR and USA Today. She has traveled to over 25+ countries, including doing educational programming in Uganda and Rwanda. As a hobby, Yulkendy loves writing poetry as a medium for activism and performing at poetry slams.
