I know this sounds a little bit silly, but when I’m working on a marketing plan or a strategy either for myself or for a client, I tend to frame it up as an amusement park. 🎢

I know all my examples always go back to Jumanji or something crazy like that, but if you think of an amusement park, you have the amusement park itself, but then you also have the rides and attractions. 🎡

A lot of businesses have a lot of “rides” and “attractions”. So, you might have done for your services, you might have a DIY service, you might have some downloadable pieces of content, or you might have a high ticket offering in the form of consulting.

Essentially, each of those rides and attractions or each of those products and services needs some sort of marketing plan associated with it. 👈

The question then becomes, how do we get the right people in the right places, and how do we get the thrill-seekers over to the rollercoasters? 🤔

What crazy analogies do you use in business? 🤪
